Research Interests

Formation and evolution of the oceanic crust - field and laboratory investigations in the modern oceans and ophiolites; hydrothermal systems - fluid-rock interaction in the crust and the magmatic - hydrothermal transition; and global geochemical fluxes - evolution of the chemical and physical properties of the ocean crust as it ages.
